As the title say, here is new founder, CamaroLp. Our previous founder, ErothBlackDragon, honored me with her trust and her place here. Alice doesn't have much free time, but she is still a part of our group, one of our co-founders.
Don't worry, nothing in the rules will change.
Also I cleaned some mess in the Pixel, Doll and Sprite Art folder, all things accidentally got there are moved to right folders. Checking other folders now.

Thank you. CamaroLp

Hey there,
As per your rules, I'd like to submit an example of my creature art, but I'm not sure how to do so without first being a member.  Could someone please advise on how to do so?  Alternatively, if you simply accept my application, I'll be glad to submit one post-haste.  :)

It doesn't means to submit something to the group gallery, you need just show us your drawing in comment

Fair enough.  In that case, here are a few examples of my work.  I have chosen these pics deliberately, as they pertain to a few questions I have regarding your group policies.  Apologies in advance for the lengthy post.

Tree Cat Concept 1
This pic is a piece of line-art over an aged paper backdrop.  It was intended to resemble an old fashioned zoological study and, as such, I consider it a "finished" piece.  However, some groups seem to prefer that all line art go in their WIP folders, even if it is a completed and detailed sketch.  What is your policy in this regard?

Turn Back!
My big creative work at the moment focuses on a low fantasy jungle setting.  The setting focuses on the people who live within it and, as such, my creature art often shows my human characters interacting with the beasts that share their habitat.  I assume that this is permissible, provided that the creature is the main focus of the image?  I have seen other pics in the gallery with humans included in the shot, but I thought I'd make sure, since I'm enquiring anyway.

The human characters I mentioned above are a tribe of hunter-gatherers, living in a stiflingly humid environment.  As such, nudity is commonplace among them.  I try to keep the lack of clothing incidental (they happen to be naked, just as a bird or lemur would be).  However, I wonder what your policy is on works with mature content.  Likewise, what about "anatomically correct" depictions of other mammals - such as, say a rat with visible genitals?  I haven't had occasion to draw any so far, but it may come up in the future.

Finally, your rules mention that no "real" creatures should be included in submissions.  Shown in the "Ribbit!" pic are a number of non-existent frogs that I have invented.  Many of the other species and genera in my world are likewise from existing taxonomic families (porcupines, sloths, bats), but have adapted to their new environment, forming new species.  Does this sort of speculative evolution qualify them for your group - or are you specifically looking for outright fantastic species, such as dragons, gryphons and the like?

Thanks for your time and, in advance, for your feedback.  I apologize if the questions seem overly nit-picky, but I'd rather know ahead of time, and save us all the hassle of incorrect submissions.

1. Basically all sketches and linearts go to the Sketches, WIPs, Roughs and Lineart folder. But this one is detailed enough, so you can sumbit it to the Digital Artwork folder.
2. It fit the group, the creature is a noticeable and important part of scene.
3. We're working on mature content question now, but it's okay, nudity isn't bad thing.
4. Alternative species is okay, just write in the work description that's your own species.

No problems. You're accepted now

Hi, I've been a member for a bit now but can't submit anything. I haven't submitted anything for more than a month so know it's not from a limit. Why can't I submit my creatures anymore?
CamaroLp Featured By Owner Jul 16, 2017  Hobbyist General Artist
It was some bug in settings, now all right
